Outlook Express 6 is having trouble downloading attachments.
If you get the error Outlook Express removed access to the following unsafe attachment in your mail. follow these steps to correct the problem:
- Open Outlook Express.
- Click on Tools on the top menu bar.
- Click on Options.
- Click on the Security tab.
- Uncheck the box labeled "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus."
- Click Apply.
- Click OK.
This is an important security feature of Outlook Express 6, and we recommend re-enabling this
feature once you have downloaded the file attachment. Having this feature disabled increases the
chance of being infected with a computer virus.
