Carmelite Vocation Booklet, 1963
In the middle photo, I recognize Fathers
Fergus, Emeric, and Flavian (2nd, 4th, and 6th figures,
from left). (They're easier to discern in the actual booklet.) In the
bottom photo, I recognize
our first-year Latin teacher, Fr. Sylvan (front row, 4th from
left). I think I also see the brother who "drafted" me to go to
town to get the mail one day, never discovering that I had a
Carmelite "capuce" (the small cape with the hood: it had been used as a
paint rag and discarded) stuffed under
my jacket, having been out in the woods trying it on.
