Parents of Autistic Children (POAC) of Central Maryland is a 501(c)(3) public charity that provides training and support resources for families regarding Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs for children with autism.

GET THE FACTS: The National Autism Center (NAC) has issued its long-awaited National Standards Report, examining the evidence base of autism treatment. This publication is the result of a several year project reviewing hundreds of papers from the scientific literature to provide a standardized evidence-based report. Download the report!

KEEP UP WITH CURRENT FINDINGS: The Federal government's Interagency Autism coordinating Committee publishes an annual "Summary of Advances in ASD Research."

Why read Motivations? POAC recognizes that autism families already have too much to read and too many things to do. So a POAC member who has already read a new book, reviewed the recent research, attended a conference or been through an experience has summarized the key points for you.
