Text Box: Mar-Lu-Ridge is a year-round outdoor ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America situated in the beautiful Catoctin Mountains of central Maryland! We minister through our summer camp, retreat and conference center and a variety of programs offered throughout the year. At Mar-Lu-Ridge campers of all ages experience and engage in cooperative learning as well as participate in new activities, all in a safe, non-threatening, non competitive and hands-on environment. Campers also build self-confidence along with an understanding of what it means to live as a "community in Christ." Counselors and staff have a tremendous influence on a camper's growth. Mar-Lu-Ridge staff members are carefully selected and specially trained to ensure a safe, meaningful and unforgettable experience of faith. Among others, Registered Nurses, Emergency Medical Technicians, certified specialty instructors, lifeguards and pastors are present each week during the summer to provide for the health and safety of the campers.
