I'm just a hobby level woodworker, so don't get too critical ! (You wouldn't believe some of the comments people make). I've always been interested in woodworking. My grandfather used to build furniture back home in Pennsylvania. He did everything without power tools and with only one arm. I unfortunately never got to learn from him, as he died when I was only two, but I must have picked up the woodworking bug in the "genes". My father never woodworked and there isn't anybody I know who is a woodworker. What little I do know I learned from reading and making tons of mistakes.

My shop was small, disorganized and cold but now it's been disassembled and waiting for me to rebuild it so I'm temporarily out of commission. I hope to have some pictures of my new shop on here eventually. Most of the furniture I build is done for friends and most are usually done without specific plans. Plans are just meant to be "guidelines" anyway ! I hope to be able to improve my speed, finishing technique, and photography sometime soon too !
