**** DONKEY EMAIL HOTLINE ****
Medical Emergencies
If you have a medical emergency, CALL YOUR VETERINARIAN! Although we at Miniature Donkey Talk Magazine
and the International Miniature Donkey Registry know a great deal about donkeys, no one in our office
is a licensed veterinarian. We do however, stay in close contact with our magazine's consulting
veterinarians. We cannot emphasize the fact enough that in medical emergency conditions, your
first call should be to a veterinarian who can physically see the animal.
Many veterinarians have very little experience with miniature donkeys, and some are simply
reluctant to treat them or give opinions on treatment. This is where we come in. If your donkey has
a medical problem that your veterinarian just can't figure out, email us the details and we'll be happy to
discuss it with you and give you our thoughts or opinions.
We do not charge for this service. However, our book, Caring For Your Miniature Donkey
has a ton of information on health care and management and most of the time you can find the answer to your problem in the book. Also,
Miniature Donkey Talk
Magazine has a great many health care articles in each and every issue.

Non Emergencies, General Questions
We are always happy to discuss and answer general questions concerning miniature donkeys. Again, you
can find most answers in our books or Miniature Donkey Talk Magazine. However, if you still have
questions, probably the fastest way to get answers is by emailing us at minidonk@qis.net.
PLEASE LIMIT YOUR QUESTIONS TO TWO OR THREE AT A TIME! If answers to your questions can be found in our books or recently answered in Miniature Donkey Talk Magazine, you will be advised what issue of the magazine the subject is covered in.
Please give us a much information as you can so that we can give you accurate and complete answers. For the sake of you and your donkey, expect honest, direct, down-to-earth answers.
