This is a little tidbit from Mike Schrag. Mike's a very gifted Java developer who was one of the author's of our remote learning products. Also very cool is the Rhino Project at Mozilla.  It's a pure-Java Javascript interpreter that allows you to (among other things) bind java classes into  Javascript -- http://www.mozilla.org/rhino/ [Mike Schrag's Radio Weblog] I'm really impressed with the applications he has written and the development style he has developed.
