How to setup email accounts for:

Windows Live Mail:

  1. If this is the first time you have run Windows Mail, it will ask you to add a new account.
  2. If no window appears, click Add e-mail account from the menu on the left.
  3. Enter your E-mail Address, Password and Name.
  4. Check the box next to Manually configure server settings for e-mail account.
  5. Click Next.
  6. For account information, use the following settings:
  7. My incoming server is a POP3 server, Port 110.
  8. Incoming server:
  9. Log on using: Clear text authentication.
  10. Logon ID: enter the first part of your email address without the "".
  11. Outgoing server:, change the Port to 587.
  12. Check the box next to: My outgoing server requires authentication.
  13. Click Next.
  14. Click Finish.
